No PAPA Festival Summer 2010

We regret to inform you that the PAPA Festival will not be happening this summer. We’re stepping back and looking at a variety of options, including a mix of local and regional gatherings for the future. Lord willing, we will have something planned for next summer. First Fruits Are Sprouting!

Over the past week, I’ve heard from quite a few communities that folks are getting plugged into their communities through the Community of Communities project! It’s exciting for me to hear stories of people taking exploring community life. A few visitors have made their way World Hunger Relief and I hear from The Orchard Community in Witchita that a couple who visited may be moving in soon!

I would love to hear and share more stories from our communities. These anecdotes are the spirit which animates and gives meaning to the bones of this website. You can use our Contact Form or send me an email directly.

Hello, From Your New Tour Guide

Hello Community Folks! The Community of Communities website has been up and running for a few months now and it’s time that we start breaking it in and really making it feel like home. I’m going to help keep our little internet outpost running smoothly and I’d like to decorate with the stories, pictures, and advice from your communities around the world.

I’ll post here regularly to welcome new communities to the Community of Communities, to pass along updates on the adventures you all are undertaking, and to share resources we come across that may help in our journeys in community.

If you are having any trouble with the website, you can send us a message and I’ll help you out ASAP. Also, if you have any exciting news to share with us, you can use that comment form as well. If you need to send attachments or long emails, just make a note of that in your comment and I’ll get back to you with an email address (if we post it here, those nasty internet robots will never stop sending me spam!).

So I leave you for now, looking forward to sharing this corner of the interwebs with y’all!

Hey everybody… after all sorts of collaborating and dreaming and sweat, we are excited to offer this site as a resource for folks looking to connect with the other great folks all over the planet. We’ve done our best to make this easy to use, and it will no doubt continue to evolve. But we know that it will produce much fruit for folks looking to find little communities where God is at work in this world. So use it, share it, help us create it.
